With Shoot or be Shot (available on DVD May 18) you get both the funny and the Shatner. The movie is a fun send-up of current trends like reality TV, DIY filmmaking, and cinematic movements like Dogma 95, and it features good ol' Bill "Kahhhhhnnnnn!" Shatner as an escaped mental patient who's determined to make a film by holding several actors hostage and filming what happens. Which, when you think about it, maybe isn't that crazy.... Just a thought.
