in South Africa, India, Bali, Italy, Spain, Prague, and Romania, to name just a small few. Tarsem takes advantage of natural sites and architecture in a way that most directors don’t. The Fall never feels like a small budget film.
The film's faults lie in its much-too-violent climax (which is a shame because it’s a story that kids might otherwise enjoy, but the violence gives it an R rating) and an ending that feels slightly dragged out.
Still, the stunning visuals and organic performances by the two leads made The Fall a film I couldn’t help falling for.
