Bloodsucking and murderous news posters

A handful of new posters came out for upcoming action and horror films; I've posted them all below. But first, here's some color commentary.

The first is Rob Zombie's remake/reimagining of Halloween, starring Malcolm McDowell, among others. The poster seems fairly standard, although I like the whole montage thing on Michael Myers' face.

The next you'll see is 30 Days of Night, which features bloodsucking vampires who go to Alaska during its annual nighttime-all-the-time period (which I'm assuming lasts 30 days). Josh Hartnett stars as the sheriff who tries to get the surviving townsfolk to stick together. The poster for this one is pretty simplistic; word on the 'net is that it's almost identical to cover of the graphic novel upon which it's based. Which might be a good thing, depending on how good that was.

Finally, there's a poster for the upcoming Will Smith extravaganza I Am Legend. This one's also about vampires...well actually they're more like mutants, but I'm pretty sure they drink blood. Smith is the last man alive in a post-apocalyptic New York City. Sounds a bit like 28 Days Later, although the story's been around for longer, and there's a much, much bigger budget. It's only the first teaser poster, but it's not much to look at...at all. Kind of lame. Anyway, check them all out below:
