Ellen Burstyn, Carla Gugino and David Boreanaz will co-star in the independent sports drama Our Lady of Victory, Variety reports.
The film follows the rise of the down-and-out Immaculata College women's basketball team to victory in the National Women's Collegiate Championship in 1972. Gugino plays the coach and Boreanaz plays her husband.
Tim Chambers wrote the script and is set to direct, with Pat Croce producing. Shooting begins today.
Gugino recently guest-starred on HBO's Entourage and was seen in such films as Night at the Museum and The Lookout.
Boreanaz currently stars in the Fox drama Bones, which was recently picked up for a third season. Burstyn's recent film credits include The Fountain and The Wicker Man.
