In honor of their upcoming release Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, 20th Century Fox is setting up a website that reveals the origins and mysteries of the Silver Surfer. The only difference is that you're writing it.
From the mouth of the Fox itself: "Are you the expert? Prove it! This is a chance for comic book and movie lovers alike to show off their knowledge. 20th Century Fox would like to know, 'Who is the Silver Surfer?' Please feel free to go here: http://whoisthesilversurfer.com/us/ and fill in as much as you know about the Fantastic Four’s arch nemesis in the upcoming movie Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in theaters June 15th."
The website has a wiki-style setup like Wikipedia, so check it out. Not a bad promotional idea, if you ask me, considering the encyclopedic knowledge of comic book fans. |
