According to Moviehole, Tom Cruise and Denzel Washington will headline the upcoming thriller 28th Amendment from director Philip Noyce (The Quiet American).

Cruise will play the new President of the United States, Ben Cahill, who discovers that the country is actually being controlled by a "super secret organization," led by Washington's character, which destroys anything that gets in its way.

Sounds like a fun - and hopefully hilariously ludicrous - story, and it's hard to argue with the star power.
