Jamie Foxx has just signed onto an intriguing project called Blood on the Leaves, which will be directed by George C. Wolfe of HBO's Lackawanna Blues.
Foxx will play "a district attorney who grapples with feelings of revenge as he prosecutes a black history professor on trial for the murders of white men accused of crimes against blacks during the Civil Rights movement," says the Hollywood Reporter.
A second male lead (the defendant?) has not yet been cast. Paramount will distribute. Foxx next appears in The Kingdom, out late September. |
