Katherine Heigl of Grey's Anatomy will star in a new romantic comedy 27 Dresses directed by Anne Fletcher.
Heigl plays a woman who wears a lot of bridesmaid dresses, the last one being for her sister who is marrying Heigl's true love.
Having 27 friends that get married is quite impressive, but screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada took on the feat. A rewrite was done however, by Dana Fox who wrote the Debra Messing vehicle, The Wedding Date.
Shooting begins as soon as Hiegl takes a break from Grey's Anatomy. |
